May 7, 2018 · The Uverse remote will not turn on and off the TV, it will only change the channel using the up and down button. - - - I have tried to program the Uverse remote by pressing TV - enter with no luck. The att remotes always control the att dvr's and receivers. No programing is needed for them.

Anonymous. Mine does it to. It indicates that the remote is processing the command. Once the action is complete it returns to blue. Nothing to get upset about. The remote has new batteries. After you push a button, the blue light turns red and flashes. It is also difficult to get the ff function to stop.
