In draft mode the lift should only raise during the last two inches of travel on the control lever. You can move the quadrant backward or forward to adjust this. Aug 3, 2010. #1. You should be able to push the draft control lever down. It should sort of snap into place and stay there. Up for most 3 point work, down is mostly for plowing. The other knob is the flow control. It adjusts the speed that your 3 point raises. Finally got around to pulling the lift cover and there was no linkage between the lever and the inside parts. I don't understand why someone would remove linkage unless there was a problem.
