Gmc sierra radio display not working.
Radio and rear speakers work fine. When attempting to adjust fader control, no sound at all comes from front door speakers. Also of note, there are no chimes for ignition, door open or turn signals. As I understand, theses sounds come through the drivers front door speaker.
I changed my battery this morning. The old one was toast. Put in a Deka 778DT. The swap was fine. Nothing abnormal about it. But when I went to drive the truck the radio didn't work. The screen doesn't come on. The buttons don't light up when I turn on the headlights. Outside temp sensor is on the hood latch support in front of raditor about dead center. Try re-seating the ribbon cables and it would not hurt to clean the contacts with a pencil eraser while it is apart.
