It's in the oak lab, there's a new door where you need the card to enter, there you find the new zipline and that's it, after you pick it up you don't need to do anything else, have fun. #2. There would be no useless ziplines, because anyone with half a functioning brain cell would just make a fucking harness and clip on, giving exactly the same effect as current. It's both an un-fun mechanic and one that is not internally logical in the game world. Pretty sure they're not dumb enough to do that.
