Jul 15, 2020 · I would say for that price, Tikka or Remington action Proof Research Barrel and an MDT Hntr 26 stock. Ultra modular stock that weighs 26 oz. Get the one that folds so you can pack it around with a Silencer on it and still be shorter length. I do own two Christensen Arms Rifles both shoot well under 1 MOA with Factory ammo. They like the ELDX.
Little elbow grease and the action can be good. I have a Tikka superlite 243 that is accurate and smooth in bolt and trigger. I like the T3x better because of the bolt being workable on safe, (T3 isn't) bolt shroud is metal and stock is better also. Buddy has a Christensen arms Ridgeline that shoots excellent but keeps shearing base mount screws.Option one is to buy a tikka t3x CTR with the 24” threaded barrel and put it into a KRG Bravo chassis with a Yo Dave trigger spring. I love my Ridgeline but, for the money, Tikka all the way. Each Tikka I have was easy to load for and I get 1/2 moa or better.
