That's the only way they can call you on the app. Unless they're calling thru the app, your called ID will not show doordash calling. But if you do have previous experience in the rideshare, food, or courier service industries, delivering with DoorDash is a great way to earn money. We welcome drivers and bikers from other gig economy or commercial services such as UberEats, Postmates, Lyft, Caviar, Eat24, Google Express, GrubHub, AmazonFresh, Instacart, Amazon, Uber, Waitr ... DoorDash knows customers scam but, it’s little that can be done. Most scammers low/non tip. So must drivers use that to stay away from them. Some will actually tip more to not appear scammy too! All we can do is as much as possible to protect ourselves but, DoorDash knows most the claims are false against us.

I just had an issue with DD and had a conversation with a customer service agent thru the app. Then I got a call from a weird number and googled it. I guess the scammer is still trying it. I just got called by the scammer. Telling me my tablet is malfunctioning and they are sending me a new tablet.
