Dec 20, 2023 · GD won't open, (SOLUTION) If GD doesn't open when updating, you need to go to your file explorer, where you should find 2 folders for Geometry Dash, one called "Resources" and the other called "Geometry Dash." 1.--Go into the "Geometry Dash" folder. Once there, you have to delete all the images there EXCEPT for the "Resources" folders and the ".dll" files. Go to where your geometric dash is located, go to properties, there will be a compatibility tab, open it and turn it on there and select version 8. but it doesn't work for me since I'm on linux mint.
