The Cetme is a Spanish rifle made long before the G3 and is what the G3 is based on. Cetme kits are cheaper than HK kits by up to several hundreds of dollars most of the time and some but not all of the parts are interchangeable, including magazines.

CETME C shares most parts with a G3. I've only ever done AK's but a press and toth tool rivet jaws along with the AK builder rivet jig, front trunnion drilling jig, trunnion support, and trigger guard support will get you through a build with a pre bent 80%. My first build was an RPK with the Toth tools as well.
