Boards. Technical IH Talk. Farmall M 3 Point hydraulic hook up. Good morning all. I have a 1951 Farmall M with live hydraulics, pump next to distributor and a 2 way valve on the top of the pump. I have two lines that come off of the two way valve to the rear of the tractor with the original pioneer quick coupler ends on them.The rear port on the left side goes to the cylinder which runs the 3 pt hitch. A valve in this line allows it to be shut off. 3 lines, 3 valves, 3 cylinders; if the 3pt had 2 cylinders, a tee in the line would handle that. By shutting off the loader lines when the loader is at a convenient height, I can then run the 3pt hitch.
