I have the exact same issue with my Nest Hello. My router (ASUS RT-AC88u) is 15' and one wall away from the Nest Hello and it randomly goes offline as well. I have my 5Ghz with a separate SSID so it's not switching to 2.4Ghz. My lock only goes offline when my router goes out. I think rebooting the router helped my lock reconnect. It takes 10-30 minutes for the lock to reconnect. Same thing is happening to me with Google Webpass ISP in SF. I called support a couple of times to try and resolve; support was able to see the router go offline multiple times… but couldn’t diagnose why… ended up blaming the ISP. I then called Google Webpass - they didn’t see any drops in connection.

You can pick a channel by looking at an app like "Wi-Fi Analyzer" and pick the "least busy" channel of either channel 1, 6, or 11. Don't use "auto" for channel width or control channel.
