Iwe ford f150 noise.

For the past couple of months my truck had been intermittently having a grinding noise/vibration in the front end. Generally low speed only, 15-25Mph. The noise/vibration would go away as soon as I shifted out of 2wd in to 4wd. After doing much research I figured it was the IWE actuator that was causing the problem.2015 - 2020 Ford F150 - IWE issues - So the truck, 2016 F150 4x4, is making a loud grinding/rattling noise. The hub is not engaging completely because it usually has wear from the actuator rubbing against the iwe gear trying to engage but can't because of weak or no vacuum. First a little back ground on the 4 wheel drive system in the F150 Raptor. And in fact in all the Ford F150's. I have also seen this subject on other F150 forums.
