There is clunking sound while driving at slow to fast speeds ( 2 or 4 wheel drive). Sounds like something loose and hitting underneath but I cannot see anything loose. Any ideas what it might be?

Remove the 2 caps, the one on the radiator and the one in the middle. Remove the screw from the intake manifold. Fill the system from under the seat until coolant comes out of the intake. Put the screw back in and tighten it. Then continue filling until coolant comes out of the radiator. Reinstall radiator cap.

The problem is that Kawasaki has an electric fuel pump in the Mule that provides too much pressure for the float/needle to shut off the gas flow. The flooding problem with gas pissing out of the carbs is caused by the float needles not seating properly, most likely from rust in the tank seeping into the float bowls and lodging up in there. I would suggest to clean the tank, all fuel lines, fuel inlets on carb, fuel filter, petcock, float bowls, and the needles to solve this problem.

Front radiator and center cap. Remove the air bleed screw in the intake manifold (2510 only...3010 is on the upper metal line near the engine). Fill the center filler until coolant runs out of the engine bleed screw. Leave the engine OFF for now. Once coolant comes out of the manifold, reinstall the screw.
