I’m surprised that a Corvette guy doesn’t know about the Kindig CF1. The design is a complete ground up carbon fiber car using the basic ’53 lines. The body features stretched doors, elongated cabin, and lowered foot wells compared to the original ’53. I think Dave Kindig has great vision and would love to see his take on a ’57.The C1 Corvette is smooth and shapely, with the 56-57 being my favorites with single headlights and plenty of teeth in the grill. The C2 is a completely different beast, with a pointed nose and hidden headlights.Being a client and a friend of the Kindig’s for over 20 years, he has been around the shop since it opened.
