Solution to the problem below; please read the whole thing. The part that’s misaligned is the hinge cap, not the hinge itself. Unless you hear a noise whenever the hinge moves, this is cosmetic. No noise = misaligned hinge cap not hitting anything. Lenovo warranty is a gamble because they will change the part but not really solve the issue.
