Although still ran across one or two weird contract exams, almost all came out in my favor. I was super impressed with my hearing/mental health QTC C&P at one facility, super professional and actually took time and listened. My joint pain/sinusitis/IBS QTC C&P on the other hand at another facility was fucking horrible.
The range can really vary, I had an exam take more than 6 months to be clarified. In that time, other exams went through and were sent in perfectly fine. All depends on the situation. I recently had 2 exams set up through a 3rd part and they wanted me to drive 1 hour for one, and 2 hours for the other. I called to reschedule both exams closer to my house and they had nothing, so I asked for them to send them back to the VA for reassignment to another provider. 2 claims were continued and one was marked as not service connected.All VA disability compensation and pension claims require a medical exam review on each submitted disability.
