I found the best scenario for the pops/burbles is to have lower RPM set for activation (I think mine is like 2200RPM). From 40-50mph in 5th or 6th gear let off throttle and let the car slow down. On the downshifts, the engine will exceed the set 2200RPM, and pop and crackle AFTER letting off the throttle and rev match downshift.N54 Exhaust Burble XDF Tables.
