If was shorted to ground it would throw code P0182 or that is thrown then fuel temp is over 248 degrees F. You can ohm across the sensor to see what the resistance is. Example if you see 584 ohms then the fuel temp should be 140 degrees F. If 2K ohms then fuel temp be around 68 degrees F.Feb 28, 2024 · Turn off the engine and disconnect the negative battery cable.
