The secondary router is connected via coax. the Cr1000a router which has Ethernet coming from the modem and a coax cable. CR1000A here with gigabit. I get 980 down wired about 650ish through wifi. Good enough for me. . I had the CR1000B before and it was junk. Slow connection, bad range. Probably faulty firmware or something, I returned it for CR1000A. I skipped G3100 since I bought my own G1100 from Ebay for $20 and that was good for years.

File transfers over LAN/ethernet from one Windows PC to another, used to transfer at speeds between 70 to 100 MB(MegaBytes) p/s.
