Hello @all, can anyone tell me which tool to use to reset the DME of the B58 engine (donor car F30 340i 2018) to be able to adapt it to another cars FEM? Preferably a tool that doesn't require cutting it open. Doing an engine swap right now and need to be able to start the car. Also if anyone knows a way to reset 8HP Gearbox let me know. The M340i is X-Drive and the engine is a B58, the parts list for that would be a good starting point I guess, though it'd still be very complex and very costly. F20 M135i LCi, auto, adaptive suspension, adaptive LED h/l + HB assist, h/seats, c/pack, elec folding mirrors etc.I would be easier to sell ur n20 and buy a b58 (the whole car) B58's are only in a RWD format in the F31 (M340i) overseas. If you wanted to swap an AWD B58 from an X5 (for the example) into an Xdrive F31 that would be mad interesting and it would be a sick car, awd b58 wagon would rip!BMW B46/B58 vs B46TU/B58TU. I bought the 4 cylinder because it is my daily driver and don’t want to spend a ton on gasoline but it just lacks torque. I already got a tune but that did not really make a difference.
