Siphon out as much gas as possible and then tip the ATV up on its end for a minute to drain out the rest. 2. I went to start the bike the other day and it ran fine for a couple of minutes and then backfired and shut off. It would crank but not start again.If it leaks, it may just be the float needle is damaged. Another thing to check is weather or not there is gas in the floats.
