Exhausting all the dialogue options is a soft requirement to get the secret ending. Meaning it's one of the 7 things of which you need at least 5. I don't see a point in not doing it though. If you refuse the power, I guess you miss one mythic rank, thus failing at one of the hard requirements, which is reaching mythic level 10 at the end.I'm trying to get the secret (aka ascension) ending.
