It was a Fender copy before they really made a variation of there own designs, even had the Fender headstock shape. It was a killer bass, I would rate it quality wise right up there with Japan Fenders of the 80's.

Brands I've used are Silvertone, Danelectro, Kay, Hofner, Fender, Squier, Epiphone, Harmony, SX, Ibanez, Krappy, Gretsch, Rogue, Eastwood and Dan Armstrong/Ampeg. I think I remembered them all. The Benson Germanium Boost isn’t exactly the greatest boost pedal. While other brands, such as TC Electronic, MXR and Keeley, offer boosts of upwards to 30 db, the Benson boasts a modest eight db.
