The keymo ratcheting system is cool quick and convinient for a secure locked in setup at the cost of length and weight. Their new system is just a threaded taper mount, could be considered less convenient by some and may not be as rock solid of a lockup as the keymo. With that being said, it's shorter and lighter.

I quickly figured out the keymo doubled the weight of the turbo k and I didn't swap the cans around that much. I built a 14.5" p/w and went to Xeno on the turbo k and ended up having the same overall length and lost a couple ounces between the two uppers. I kept the keymo on the R2 and swap it between the larger calibers (6.5mm, 7.62 etc)The multi-purpose .46 caliber Primal. If you're planning on using the Omega on the Scar, stick with the ASR. I converted mine to KeyMo and the added length and weight nullifies all the benefits of the Omega, which is short and light weight. If I had things to do over, I would only buy HUB suppressors and generally use Xeno for everything with RH threaded muzzles, and Keymo for LH threaded muzzles. Xeno is small, light, and LH lockup, and my favorite mount system to date though Area 419, Rearden Atlas, and others make excellent micro taper mounts and QDs.

Some of the more popular suppressors that Dead Air makes also come with the KeyMo standard. I was debating between the two while my Sierra 5 was in jail. I was leaning Xeno because it's shorter, lighter, simpler and less expensive than Keymo. You could argue it's more durable too. The reverse threads, threads behind the taper, and plently of room for tools all made sense to me.Keymo is on heavy side, so I have gotten a few lighter mounts within keymo like the micro FH and brake, even the bare device.
