Premium shouldn't be an issue with a 1300 stock or flashed .At idle does the throttle respond snappy or lag then as well ?? have you had any work done on the bike ?? ie fuel tank off ? could be pinched breather hoses on the tank..Have you tried riding with the gas cap not locked down ??
2007 V STAR 1300 Tourer - I was shocked that every 4000 miles the valves have to be adjusted. The cost is around $150 each time. If I had known this I would have never bought the bike.
