The test strip exposed to the diluted sample returned a much darker pregnancy line than control line. The results were quick to develop. I used a new strip to check the undiluted sample (in case strip from earlier in the morning had just been bad). Results were similar to earlier in the day - pregnancy line was much fainter than the control line.

Jun 7, 2011 · In my experience, ICs are crap at detecting the subtle shifts in pregnancy hormones. Your best bet is to use a FRER or any other pink test to check the darkness (although I've had good luck with Clearblue as well). Also, remember that hormones typically double every 48hrs or so, so you may be within this window (thus your tests look the same).
