The RGB30 has to be powered off, with HDMi plugged in and Monitor on. Then turn on the RGB30. When I first got my RGB30 I didn’t realize this and thought something was broken. It's not obvious, but it's true. You need to connect in the off state. Previously, I had a retroid 2+ and I connected it while it was on. I had real issues with JELOS on the RGB30, same as others. It was generally unstable, the time to start a game was inexplicable, the inability to power down with the power button etc etc. I spent a lot of time using MinUI, which was really good, but very limited (purposefully).
