The barn is further separated internally with another animal flap. Also, the food amount that pen 1 and pen 2 say is present is the same, which cannot be true as pen 1 is much smaller than pen2.

Haygrass in the pen is a terrible idea. It grows slowly, relative to natural plants or dandelions, and gives very little nutrition unless it reaches 100% AND gets harvested by your pawns. If you make a pen and place a marker it'll tell you how many cows the pen supports.
