You can buy the Security 18.5" (20 gauge) directly from Mossberg (call them) for $66.18.I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid. The Benelli is a GREAT gun, and cost me about what I paid for both the Mossy's combined. If your budget is small, go with the Mossy's, they'll do the job reliably.Shell length: Mossberg 500/590/590A1's and Remington 870 express/police are designed to be able to handle 2 3/4", and 3" shell length and can fire either without any issues. Remington 870's can come in "super magnum" which can handle 3.5" shells, but usually only come in "magnum" which indicates they can fire 2 3/4" shells and 3" shells.
