Apr 11, 2020 · Posted April 11, 2020. As Tony says, it depends greatly on your use patterns. The first 'official' Plug-in Hybrid was the Prius PHEV launched on the UK in 2012. Depending on average temperature and usage patterns, it could only do 8-13 miles on pure EV (winter/summer), but after that it ran like a normal Prius.
