OK I am going to suggest exploring the Los Boliches area of Fuengirola. Assuming you will be on the M120 I suggest getting of at the stop Rotonda del 600 2426, this is just past the roundabout with a 'grass' covered Fiat 600 in the middle of it.Hiya, update to a Scottish Bar, we were in Los Boliches last night and were in the Calle Francisco Cano road which is one road down from the main road in los Boliches called, Ave de Los Boliches as you head towards the paseo. We came across a new bar called "Celt" so check it out, it's just before you get to the Kon-tiki Bar and Restaurant. 5. We bought the travel card for the green area ( Malaga to Fuengirola) for EUR 1.50 and loaded it with Eur 5. Very convenient to use on the buses as they don't accept bank card. Each journey was 40/45 cts instead of Eur 1.70 for cash payments. Difficult to locate where the travel card can be purchased. Fuengirola is nice when the sun shines, quieter than Benidorm. Entertainment in Fuengirola is very low key. Few places have a music licence and the police raid now and then. It's not too bad in an hotel, but even then much of the entertainment is below par. I like Fuengirola in the Summer, 3 euro on the train from the airport.

Trains leave the airport at :16, :36 and :56 after the hour and it is a 34 minute ride to Fuengirola which is the last stop.
